here is what we did on our 5+ car straight off the bat without tuning
at 50Hz

| i see alot of guys ripping the surround from over excursion i wonder though did kicker have the right idea back in the day with "the sewn double stiched sorround" or would you have torn that too im just asking if maybe would hold up better? the foam surrounds seam to rip alot does any one still use neoprene any more ? but all in all your build is killing them subs. keep it loud!!! |

I say over excursion to . IF the tuning is not 100% then it will do that to the sub all the time.
